Aspen Lodge, Nethy Bridge
Aspen Lodge, Nethy Bridge
Aspen Lodge is a traditional Scottish house full of character (it was formerly the Nethy Bridge Police Station) which has been recently refurbished and is equipped to a very high standard. It offers superb self-catering accommodation both for families and also for groups of walkers / skiers / bird watchers. It lies right in the heart of Nethy Bridge in an ideal location and is accessible all year round, even in the snow, making it a great base for a holiday or short break.
Aspen Lodge is spacious, warm and welcoming with high ceilings and lots of natural light and offers everything you need for a really relaxing, comfortable holiday. There is central heating, a wood burning stove & double glazed windows throughout to keep you warm and cosy no matter what the weather outside. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The 3 large bedrooms all have good quality mattresses and headboards.
Aspen Lodge caters for 6 (plus one infant) more than comfortably. There is also a sofa bed in the dining room so we can accommodate up to 8 people. There is a surcharge of £25 per week for parties larger than 6 to reflect the extra cleaning and laundry costs.
Aspen Lodge is now equipped with WiFi Broadband internet access (subject to a fair usage policy) so you can keep in touch with the office or home while enjoying your holiday in the Highlands.
Nethy Bridge is perfect dog-walking country and we welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs by arrangement (there is a surcharge of £15 for dogs). The large back garden is enclosed so it is safe for pets and children.
Aspen Lodge is suitable for those of limited mobility with a downstairs bedroom, bathroom, kitchen & living room. Wheelchair users should note that there are steps up to the front and back doors, which may not be suitable. Please enquire if in doubt.
Aspen Lodge is very conveniently situated, close to the village shops and public transport and lies right on the Speyside Way for fantastic walks and bike rides! The playing fields, tennis courts & children's play park are directly opposite the cottage.
